Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2010-11 Edition, Athletes, Coaches, Umpires, and Related Workers, on the Internet at http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos251.htm- This source in my mind is a great one for a few reasons. first of all it comes from the U.S Department of Labor which in my mind says the research is accurate all the way through because they need the information for their own reasons. Most of the information posted is for the year 2008 through 2011. This is important because it is relevant information for my paper because i am talking about a current issue. There is absolutely no bias in this article all of it is straight facts and information for reference. there is also no advertisements on the page what so ever. These two factors to me show that the page is all about the information and nothing else. I feel there is no fault in this source and it will be one of my strongest.

This is a positive for the credibility of the source because news papers are required to have accurate information posted by law. The author Ken Gordan is a writer for this newspapers and used sources that came directly from reports from the Ohio State University itself. He used quotes of comments made by the the coach who received the raise and from the people who gave it to him. There is also no bias in this article he is just reporting on the raise of the Ohio State Athletic Director. All of these things make the source credible in my mind. I will use this source because the direct quotes and information gathered by the author are very strong. You cannot argue a quote given by the man the article is about. I feel my audience will find the information very interesting and the quotes very persuasive for my argument because of what they prove. I see no mishaps in this source that would make me think twice about using it.
Lewis, Michael. "The Trading Desk." New York Times 30 Mar. 2003. Print.- This print source is good for a number of reasons. First the publishing company is the New York Times. This news company is one of the most popular in America and has been posting credibly news for decades. The author Michael Lewis is a sports writer for them which in my mind shows that he is competent writer with skills in the field he is in. This article was published in 2003 which is a little old but the information is still valid. He talks about BIlly Beane and his method of creating a baseball team with little money. He uses quotes from Beane and other in baseball which makes the source all the better. All the evidence that the author uses is completely relevant. He talked about statistics Beane used to find the best players and methods he used to save money. I will use this article for my paper because i used it for my previous paper and it has a direct connection with my current paper. I think my audience will find this source is a good one because it comes from the New York Times and has many insider quotes and ideas. I found this source to be credible mainly because of the publisher cbsnews. This news company is very reputable and the post itself has many facts that gathered from interviews with the booster Nevin Shapiro. There is advertising on the website but i feel the news company's reputation overrides the ads. I will use this source for my paper for a few reasons. 1. is because it is from a news report and the facts that are included are directly related to a section of my paper. Also they have video interviews and quotes from the man their reporting about which makes it even stronger. I feel my audience will find this source persuasive mainly because of the video interview of Nevin Shapiro. That interviews gives my audience a first hand look at his crimes from his view. This news company makes this source more credible because of the obligations they must follow in order to be a news company. The author of this article is a correspondent for the news company so her credibility goes up. She must be good at reporting if she is able to get a job with a company like csmonitor. She also has no bias in report she merely reports on the incident with from Ohio State coach Jim Tressel and the players. Her references and information come from reports given by the NCAA and quotes by Tressel and others. the combination of these factors make this source a good one. I will use this source for my paper because the information on Jim Tressel is valuable for my paper. He saw players selling there memorabilia and getting benefits from boosters and he said it part of the game. there are some drawbacks to this source because they do have quite a bit of ads which takes away from the quality of the article just a little because of the amount. also they do not. I will use this source in my paper because it is an interview from a former player who had insights to the cheating by players. I feel this article is persuasive because it is direct interview of a player and he had specific evidence to back his claims. I feel this article has no real flaws to it other than a rather large amount of advertisements.

The biggest one is that is has gathered statistics of how much schools make each seasons from homes games and merchandise sales. Once again this source has very little bias in the posts he talks more about the figures he has posted in tables. I feel this is a persuasive source because of the staggering facts they gathered from their sources which includes schools making of 100 million a season. This source only has one minor flaw to me and that is its a blog. that does not mean he did not do his research but he more than likely did not have an editor.

This author uses credible sources and even has some quotes in his report on salaries. this is a persuasive article because they have information gathered from national reports that are confirmed by multiple sources not including this one and the information they have is rather staggering. I do not see any flaws in this source except for maybe the amount of advertisements take away from the article a bit.
State of Illinois vs Eddie Cicotte Et Al. Cook Country Court. 19 Oct. 1988. Print.- I will definitely use this article because it is where i gathered my original idea for my research paper. I feel this article will be persuasive because it is from the NCAA and official organization and its from there official site. Although they do not give an author for the posts there references come directly from statistics that have gathered themselves for records .that is the same reason i have no issues with this source because it is directly from the NCAA.
